Give you meter, your wallet – an our world – a break

On Saturday 4 November, millions of ordinary people will install at least one (or one more) energy efficient bulb, and go around their homes switching off any electrical equipment that is better off resting. As a result, it will be seen that our appetite for electricity has dipped a little.

These actions will help to show that we do not need – or want – more dirty power stations. It's a first step towards that 'light bulb' moment where everyone realises that the less dependent we are on power, the more powerful we become.
